Dublin is a small city and the sort of place where you’ll always spot celebs. Something about the Irish psyche means we leave them alone and they drop their guards.
We thought we’d come up with the best place to do a bit of celeb spotting in the capital.
Time to go creeping….
Grogans – Actors
Down and dirty pub where you could be drinking with Brendan Gleeson or any regular punter.
It’s the perfect place for Celebs to let their guard down.
Krystle – Touring Musicians
The one nightclub where all touring bands go after a gig in either the 3 Arena, Vicar Street of The Olympia.
Sneak in and you’ll see celebs everywhere
The Greenery – Leinster Rugby Team
This is the perfect spot to see the Leinster lads refuelling after a tough training session up in their UCD campus.
Sure to be there every day at about 11.
Lillies – Models
This has been a celeb hang out for as long as we can remember.
Sneak into the library bar on a Saturday night and you’ll be laughing.
San Lorenzos – Brunching Media Folk
Anthony is out front of house and has all the right connections.
You’ll see models, TV presenters and sports stars mingling over eggs benedict.
Balfes – Socialites
Part of the Westbury hotel and with it’s city centre location it is the perfect place to see all the celebs having their meetings during the day.
Residence – Movers and shakers
A private members club which, as you would expect, has all the biggest heads in town relaxing behind closed doors.
Think media folk, politicians and actors wedged into the one place.
The Bridge – Leinster Rugby Team (again)
Good chance you’ll see rugby players (or Niall Horan) in here as it is owned by the 2 Kearneys, Jamie Heaslip and Sean O’Brien.
Perfect place for a pint and you’re bound to see someone.
Sophies – Pretty Young Things
The lobby here is as exclusive as it gets on the Dublin social scene.
As long as you can blag your way past the doorman you will be rubbing shoulders with the best in town.
37 Dawson Street – One Direction
Biggest band in the world right now and when Niall and bandmates are in town this is the spot they hit up for a few scoops.
They were only spotted there a few weeks ago…
Cliff Town House – Bono
The old grandfather of Irish music and celebrity in general will always be found in here having a slap up meal when back in town with boys.
He was spotted there last week during down time between U2’s 3 Arena gigs.
Coppers – GAA Players
The one place that everybody goes for the “ride” in Dublin. Sure to see some of the Dublin team in here.
Celebs love to go here to enjoy their night’s out without the judging eyes of fellow VIPs.
Montrose – A Listers
Friday night is The Late Late Show and they’ll always have a big guest on the show.
Creep around at the exit for that ultimate selfie.
SBG Gym – MMA Fighters
We are one of the best at MMA in the world and Conor McGregor and co are true to their roots and train here all the time.
