That's spec-tacular! Bono launches new eyewear range

Bono has announced that he’s teaming up with Revo Eyewear for a new campaign that will allow people to help those with vision impairment.

The singer released a special new line of shades with the brand and profits from every pair sold will go to the Buy Vision, Give Sight campaign.

Along with Revo’s partnership with the Brien Holden Vision Institute, the campaign is dedicated to preventing vision impairment and disease in over five million under served people across the world by 2020.

The cause is close to Bono’s heart, explaining in a video announcing the partnership how the campaign hit’s close to home.

“I’ve been dealing with glaucoma for 20 years,” he explained.

“I was told just yesterday that without the treatment I’m getting. I would be blind.”


Ten dollars from every pair of sunglasses sold, from Bono’s line and other Revo’s collections, will go toward the important campaign which is aiming to earn $10 million in the next five years.
