Niall Horan has caused a stir on social media after stepping out with a new facial accessory – no it’s not a piercing or tattoo but a pair of glasses.
The Mullingar man had Twitter in a tizzy over his newly acquired specs – admitting they were not for purpose but for fashion on Good Morning America.
“Eye sight’s failed me hasn’t it? No not at all, they’re an accessory,” he said.

However, 1D bandmate Harry Styles was impressed by the Irishman’s new look – echoing the thoughts of fans by saying: “I think he looks very handsome”.
Going for the mature look, the Story of My Life singer previously confessed to binge-watching Harry Potter five times in three days so he could be getting inspiration from his favourite film character.
The musician’s new fashion eyewear caused fans to take to social media in their droves.
