She's back! Lorraine Keane set for TV return as she lands gig with UTV Ireland

Lorraine Keane is heading back to Irish TV screens as she lands a new gig with UTV Ireland.

A UTV spokesperson confirmed to Goss.ie that the former Xpose star willl be interviewing singer Josh Groban for a once-off special, airing on Sunday May 3.

“It’s a look at his career to date and a look ahead at what’s next and Lorraine has a huge amount of experience in broadcasting and particularly in entertainment so she’s a great for for it,” they said.

Although it may be a once-off gig, the spokesperson revealed that they will be keeping the TV3 star in mind should more shows come up in the future.

The TV host previously told Goss.ie she wanted to step back from the limelight to spend more time with her daughters, Emelia and Romy.

However, now that the girls are 11 and 8, Lorraine is ready to step back in front of the camera.

In 2013, the mother-of-two briefly presented on TV3’s Late Lunch Life and revealed she had been pitching a cooking show.

“Things that interest me now are different to the things that would have interested me ten years ago, before I had Emelia. From that point of view you evolve and change as a person,” she told The Herald.
