Irish actress Ruth Bradley has opened up about why her Love/Hate character Mary never returned to the show after series two.
The TV star, who played Rob Sheehan’s sister in the RTE crime drama, revealed the reason for her lack of screen time was due to scheduling conflicts.
“Basically it was scheduling differences in the third series I was filming something and we never signed options so that’s what happened,” she said.

“Pretty close to filming so by then I was kind of filming something else.”
Speaking on The Nicky Byrne Show on 2fm, The Pursuit actress admitted her character never had closure .
“I didn’t get to leave on a jet plane because I couldn’t make it work,” she said.
