Cocoa Brown Tan is THE biggest talked brand in the country this week.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that reality princess Kylie Jenner promoted the brand on Instagram and Twitter, sending promotion of Cocoa Brown into overdrive.
So much so, that now Cocoa Brown is completely sold out in the US, but don’t worry you can still buy it in Ireland!
I have been a long time lover of Cocoa Brown, ever since it’s launch in 2012.
I used to be so scared of tanning products because the developing tans came out streaky on me and instant tans ruined my clothes.
Finally when Cocoa Brown came on the market, I tried it out and loved it.
I am a huge supporter of the CEO of the company Marissa Carter, she has made a huge splash in a packed market and has managed to stand out all over the world.

In 2014 we both went to LA for The Oscars, and I got to see her in full business mode.
Oscar nominees and top Hollywood actors were in and out of the Oscars Pre Pamper Suite in the Beverly Hilton, and trust me when I say everyone left with a Cocoa Brown goodie bag.
As well as admiring Marissa and her business model, I genuinely LOVE the product.
Here’s why:
The Smell
Unlike normal tans you don’t get that biscuit-like scent when you apply Cocoa Brown Tan.
There is a scent of course but it is subtle. You could wear Cocoa Brown every day and it woudn’t bother you.
The Packaging
It seems like such a small thing, but how a product looks is really important to me when I’m shopping.
The pink bottles and girlie label genuinely draws me in wherever I go. Even if I already have a few bottles at home I always walk over to Cocoa Brown stands.
Streak Free
Cocoa Brown was genuinely the first tan I tried that didn’t streak.
Obviously it’s down to the user and you have to apply the tan carefully. The reason this is easy with Cocoa Brown is because even though it is a developing tan there is a slight colour when you apply it so you can make sure you’ve covered every hour.
The other reason you are guaranteed to have a streak-free look is their shower scrub Tough Stuff, I use it all the time even when I’m not tanning, but if you use that before your application, your skin is smooth and your dry patches should be much easier to tan.

Long Lasting
Nothing is more annoying than spending ages creating the perfect tanned look and the next day your skin is in patches and you have to wash it off.
Cocoa Brown has a long lasting affect and I normally top it up over two weeks before I’ll go back to the Stuff Tough and start a new application.
When I’m not using the Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan I use their gradual tanning moisturiser Gentle Bronze, which is perfect coming into summer.
