Joanne McNally has revealed that she still hasn’t met Jennifer Zamparelli, despite taking over her role on RTÉ’s Republic of Telly.
The RTÉ star replaced Jennifer on the comedy sketch series last year, but Joanne has admitted that the funny women are still yet to meet.
“I still have never met Jennifer Maguire,” she revealed.

“We just never bump into each other for some reason.”
Jennifer left the hit RTÉ series after seven years to pursue other projects, namely her hilarious spin-off sitcom Bridget and Eamon, which she stars in alongside her 2FM co-host Bernard O’Shea.
Despite Joanne and Jennifer never meeting face-to-face – Â Jennifer still took the time to wish Joanne well on social media the night before she made her debut on the show.
“She sent out a tweet the night before my start on Republic of Telly, which was really nice,” she told the Herald.

The 31-year-old admitted that she would love to officially meet Jen, and that they should get her on 2FM’s Breakfast Republic so they can have a proper chat.
“Maybe they should get me my own slot on Breakfast Republic so we can finally meet,” she added.
