Dublin’s newest multi-storey social destination, Old Fashioned Sam’s, has today officially unveiled Laura’s, its striking new top-floor restaurant.
Located on Montague Street, this effortlessly chic venue quietly opened in the lead-up to Christmas and now brings high-end yet accessible dining alongside stylish social spaces.
The exclusive launch event brought together some of Ireland’s most recognisable personalities for an evening of premium dining and stylish socialising.




Among the notable guests were Irish TV presenting icon Glenda Gilson, Netflix reality star Rachel Foster, and influencers James Kavanagh, Louise Cooney and Holly Carpenter, all of whom enjoyed the sophisticated ambiance and party vibe of Dublin’s newest hotspot.
Social media favorites like Olivia Spuds, The Godfrey Twins, and Faye Shortt were seen capturing the moment, while India Sasha enjoyed cocktails in the stunning heated courtyard.
PJ Kirby and Newstalk Presenter Andrea Gilligan were spotted mingling in Sam’s Parlour, embracing the glamorous 1920s speakeasy cocktail bar that sits at the Hartcourt Street entrance of this huge new venue.




A Unique Social Hub in the Heart of Dublin Guests at Old Fashioned Sam’s can explore a carefully curated collection of elegant spaces:
- Laura’s Rooftop Restaurant, an elevated yet relaxed dining atmosphere.
- A ground-floor stylish bar, then opens into Dublin city centre’s largest heated courtyard, complete with a fully retractable roof for summer evenings ahead.
- A café-style front bar, catering to the local lunchtime crowd.
- Sam’s Parlour, an intimate basement cocktail bar with a glamorous 1920s speakeasy aesthetic.



The venue’s energy was kept electric throughout the night thanks to renowned high energy band Riff Shop and DJ Maria Lawlor.
Influencer Adam Kelly, who boasts a whopping 5.5M followers, was overheard praising the high quality entertainment while 98FM radio presenter Leanna Hanafin was spotted dancing the night away!
The venue’s interiors reflect a bold yet sophisticated design approach, blending rich textures, vintage-inspired details, and modern elegance.



The heated courtyard, with its striking red-and-white striped awning, evokes the charm of a Parisian brasserie, softened by lush greenery and warm lighting for a truly unique alfresco experience. M
eanwhile, the ground-floor bar brings an airy, botanical feel with a statement marble bar, plush salmon-hued stools, and natural wood finishes, offset by striking pendant lighting and cascading plant life.
Old Fashioned Sam’s is open daily from 10:30 am, with Laura’s welcoming diners for lunch and dinner. Reservations are highly recommended.
