The film tells the story of Tom, a young and aspiring Galway musician whose father Tom Senior has died as a result of a heart attack.
His father was his whole world, teaching him about life and what is right and wrong – but Tom then heads to Dublin to find the mother who apparently left him when he was just a toddler.
South hits selected Irish cinemas this week on November 25th.
