PICS: The Coronas treat fans to special VIP gig in HMV to launch new album

The Coronas were mobbed by fans at a VIP gig in Dublin last night.

Danny, Knoxy, Dave and Conor were greeted by hundreds of fans in the HMV Store in Dundrum Town Centre to launch their new album.

In a special VIP gig the singers performed tracks from their new album The Long Way.

Taking to the stage Dave thanked fans for turning up in such huge numbers.

“It’s so nice to be back here. We aren’t living in Dublin at the moment so to come back and see the real fans turn out like this, it’s amazing.

“We wouldn’t be where we are now without all you guys, so thank you so much for the support,” he told the crowd.

Fans of all ages turned up to the event, with a special album signing taking place afterwards.

The band played their brand new track Just Like That, but gave a taster of some of their new songs to come, including ballad What A Love.

Danny told the crowd he was delighted to see the fans attend the gig.

“Thanks again to everyone for coming. It means so much to us,” he said.

“And we’ll be back again in the Three Arena next year, we hope to see you all then.”

The Coronas are playing more intimate gigs today.

The All The Others singers performed a live acoustic set and signed copies of their new album at HMV Xtra-vision Portlaoise at 2pm.
