Stars lined out for the much anticipated premiere of Assassin’s Creed.
The film stars Michael Fassbender as the film’s lead character Callum Lynch, a criminal about to executed but rescued by an organisation that experiments on him and uses technology to make him relive his former life as an assassin.

Many cosplayers also attended the premiere dressed as characters from the original video game series.
The film is based off of the video games created by Ubisoft and the creators have said that they don’t expect to make money off the film but want to further promote the game.
The film hits Irish cinemas on January 1st.
