Pics: Stars come out to support Aslan's Christy Dignam as he plays charity gig

Aslan star Christy Dignam has proved he’ll continue fighting on – as he played a charity gig last night.

The Dublin rocker admitted over the weekend he fears this will be his last Christmas after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.

But Christy showed he isn’t dead yet and gave a stellar performance with Aslan at Harry’s On The Green for ARC Cancer Support.

The 54-year-old previously admitted that his battle with the disease had left him totally broke and in debt and fears for the debt being passed on to his family when he dies.

The event was attended by many of Christy and the band’s friends – and stars such as Rory Cowan, Stephen Byrne, Klly Donegan and Adrian Kennedy were also there to show support for the Dublin singer.

Mrs Brown’s Boys star Rory Cowan wrapped up for the season in a grey coat paired with a colourful scarf.
