After a star-studded 25 years in business, the nightclub that first put Dublin on the international map is closing its doors with a heavy heart.

Owner of Lillie’s Bordello – Dave Morrisey – took the opportunity to present Valerie Roe with a VIP key (a concept made famous by Roe herself).

Valerie Roe, the queen of clubs, is the former manager for the VIP establishment, having built it from the ground up over 13 years, ensuring it was the ultimate party spot for world renowned celebrities whenever in Dublin.

The last VIP key is a sterling silver creation, designed by jeweller Paul Sheeran, encased in a bespoke frame by Gallery 23.

Morrisey presented the fitting gift to an emotional Valerie Roe who took up her well known post on the door one last time.
