There was a hive of activity in Movies at Dundrum on Thursday evening as guests walked the red carpet for the Irish Premiere screening of the new film Book Club.
Guests arrived to a drinks reception with special beauty treatments and 360 degree pictures, before heading in to watch what is being tipped as one of the must-see movies this summer.
The film tells the story of Diane (Diane Keaton), who is recently widowed after 40 years of marriage, Vivian (Jane Fonda), who enjoys her men with no strings attached, Sharon (Candice Bergen), who is still working through her decades-old divorce, and Carol (Mary Steenburgen), who’s marriage is in a slump after 35 years.
The lives of the four lifelong friends are turned upside down after reading the infamous Fifty Shades of Grey, catapulting them into a series of outrageous life choices.
Spotted at the premiere was celebrity stylist Laura Mullet, as well as model Lisa Nolan.
The film was released in Irish cinemas today.
