One of the images shows T’Challa battling with Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), but the women in the movie are just as powerful.

The Walking Dead star Danai Gurira plays Okoye, leader of the all-female Wakandan special forces Dora Milaje, and Lupita Nyong’o portrays undercover operative and T’Challa’s former lover Nakia.

The movie will follow T’Challa transforming into his superhero alter ego in an attempt to prevent a war as enemies conspire to bring down his kingdom.

To do so, the royal must team up with members of the Dora Milaje and CIA agent Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman).

Chadwick made his debut as Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War, and will also be reprising the role in Avengers: Infinity War.

Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya and Andy Serkis also star in the epic, which will be released on February 16th, 2018.
