The RTE presenter was joined by Amanda Brunker and Keelin Shanley at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Dublin, ahead of UN International Day of the Girl.
And Blathnaid said: “On International Day of the Girl, we need to highlight that girls face double discrimination due to their age and gender.”
Meanwhile, Alison Canavan took centre stage at the World Mental Health Ball at the Shelbourne Hotel.
She was joined by Matt Cooper and wife Aileen, Bill Cullen and Jackie Lavin, Brent Pope and Norah Casey.
Fresh from her time as a DJ for Upbeat FM, Alison was helping raise cash for Walk In My Shoes.
