Trendy eatery Shelbourne Social was transformed into New York for the first annual ‘No one does make-up like Maybelline’ party, with the who’s who of the Irish beauty, fashion and party scene in attendance.
A host of well-known faces were spotted at the bash, including influencers Aideen-Kate Murphy, Louise Cooney, and Emma Kehoe, models Lynn Kelly and January Winters, stylist Clementine MacNiece, and jewellery designer Chupi Sweetman.
Guests celebrated Maybelline’s newest exciting beauty launches, including Dream Urban Cover – a full coverage, lightweight protective foundation with SPF 50 broad spectrum and anti-pollution – a real case of a beauty product that combines make-up and skincare.
Maybelline also officially launched their range of life-proof, smudge-proof and kiss-proof Superstay Ink Crayons.
The range boasts 12 gorgeous shades, including nudes, pinks, plums and vibrant reds, and it launches later this month.
Dillon McGrath’s Shelboune team sated guests with a delicious canapé selection to include, Bao buns with pork belly and fennel kimchi; Duck sausage rolls with Shelbourne relish; Hot curd bread with sesame seed hummus, fried garlic and sesame oil; Buttermilk chicken with truffle and crème fraiche.
The menu for the evening was completed with a sweet selection of chocolate financier with spiced Chantilly cream, and donuts with vanilla cream cheese.
