Ali Hewson, Yvonne Connolly and Claire Byrne were among some of the very glamorous women at the annual Chernobyl Children Internationals’ lunch.
Commemorating the 30th anniversary of Chernobyl, Bono’s wife attended the always glitzy event in an all-black get up.
Ali posed on the red carpet in a black dress with zip details and black knee-high boots.
Taking place in Dublin’s Fire restaurant at the Manion House, a host of well-known faces came out to support the charity.
Other stars at the event included Yvonne Connolly, Norah Casey and RTE’s Claire Byrne, who all showed off their impeccable style on the red carpet.
Speaking about the important lunch, Adi Roche, Voluntary CEO of CCI, said there are still very serious issues.

“All of these children are in need of urgent lifesaving surgery which their families simply cannot afford,” she said.
“Were it not for the intervention of CCI, most of these children would not see their sixth birthday. This is a condition children cannot live- but will die with.”
