It was Ireland’s little secret for many years and now Penneys is currently taking over the world with their newest store in Madrid.
Making a splash on the Spanish capital’s Gran Via, the Penneys, or Primark as it’s known abroad, has caused massive queues to form down the street.
The shop, which only opened over a week ago, has turned the Spanish city Primark mad and has caused fans of the retailer to form insane queues.

Far from a small entrance into the Spanish fashion arena, the new flagship Primark in Madrid is over four flours and is 15,000 square metres. The store is the second biggest Penneys in the world just behind their US offering in Boston. The retailer only opened their Boston shop in September with Cocoa Brown’s Marissa Carter in attendance.
