RTÉ have made a mess of The Rubberbandits new documentary once again – announcing the wrong air date on RTÉ2’s Twitter.
Just yesterday, it was reported that the rap duo were not impressed with the RTÉ Guide as they had printed the name of their documentary wrong, and now they’ve gone and made another mistake.
Taking to their Facebook, the Limerick lads shared a screenshot of RTÉ2’s tweet saying the show would be aired on New Year’s Day, but they hilariously corrected the station by tweeting back, “New Years eve lads”.
I’m in stitches now at this point . This is just gas.

The documentary, called The Rubberbandits Guide To 1916, will actually air in a headline slot on RTE Two on New Year’s Eve.
We’re sure RTÉ are going to be left even more red faced on top of their big mistake in their annual Christmas TV Guide.
Despite the embarrassment, we have thoroughly enjoyed the hilariousness of both RTÉ’s mistakes and of course how the Rubberbandits lads handled the situation – fair play!
