Nicky Byrne set to nab Ryan Tubridy's slot on 2fm

Nicky Byrne is tipped to replace Ryan Tubridy on the morning radio slot on 2fm.

The former Westlife’s star currently hosts The Nicky Byrne Show with Jenny Greene in the 11am slot but reports say RTE want to reward the presenter by moving him to the coveted 9-10am slot.

Ryan is expected to be taking over the vacant slot left by John Murray on RTE Radio One from 9-10am.

However, an RTE spokeswoman insisted that no decision has been made yet

“No decision has been made on John Murray’s replacement. It will be made in due course,” she told The Star.
