Niall Horan confirms: 'One Direction WILL be back'

Niall Horan has reassured Irish fans that One Direction will be back after their split.

Insiders close to the band had recently speculated that the group’s 3Arena gigs last the weekend would be their last ever in Ireland  – however the Mullingar man is putting a stop to the rumours.

“It seems like no matter how many times I say that we are not breaking up, the more people are convinced that we are breaking up, so I have given up trying to explain it.” he said.

Not goodbye: Niall has assured fans this is not the end for One Direction

“It will be good to be able to get home a bit more, because that really is the only downside of the gig.”

One Direction played three sold out gigs in Dublin on the weekend with many fans fearing it would their last chance to see the boys performing.

Niall admitted that the gigs were unlike anything he had ever seen before from 1D’s fans.

“I have never witnessed anything like it in my life – Croker and that were incredible but the sheer noise in the 3Arena was just a different level,” he said.

Blown away: Niall thought the 3Arena gigs were some of the best the band has ever played

The gigs also proved to be a family affair for the 22-year-old pop star when he hosted family and friends backstage on Saturday.

“We come here once a year and everyone just assembles,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Niall also opened up about his plans for the future.

“I won’t be starting my own label…and I don’t think I would be suited to the X Factor…there is honestly nothing in the pipeline.”
