Country singer Nathan Carter has admitted he’s single and free to mingle – and he wouldn’t rule out dating fans.
The Wagon Wheel singer has thousands of fans across Europe, and admitted that after splitting from singer Lisa McHugh, he’s back on the market.
“I am single, most definitely single, but always looking,” he revealed.
“The right person is the right person, no matter what they are or how you meet them,” he told RSVP magazine.

“That said, people may see you on stage and think they have an idea of who you are, but that’s all a perception. If they really knew me, they might think differently.
“You don’t know what people are actually after: me, or the idea of me?” he said.
But Nathan admitted that starting a relationship in the public eye can be difficult.
“It’d be very tough on the girl – also they would get judged straight away, by a lot of people, which is not nice,” he explained.
And if you’re looking to be Nathan’s new Mrs Right, the singer said he’s looking for someone who’s fun and likes jet setting.
“They would have to have a good personality, be up for the craic and be willing to travel,” he said.
