Markus Feehily has revealed I’m a Celeb bosses tried to nab him for the show after his former Westlife bandmate Kian Egan became King of the Jungle.
Although the singer loves watching the reality show, he admitted he’s too scared to appear on it – especially with his fear of birds.
“I’ve been asked to do all the main reality shows. The idea of being buried alive in a coffin with rats in the jungle absolutely terrifies me,” he said.

“I’ve a massive phobia of birds and remember seeing Johnny Rotten have bread attached to his entire body while two or three ostriches were attacking him in a pen.
“It’s fun to watch it – but I would have a cardiac arrest,” he told the Mirror.
Despite a possibility of suffering a cardiac arrest, the Sligo native said he would make great TV.
“It probably would make great TV, seeing me screaming for my life,” he laughed.
