TV3 star Mark Cagney has admitted he’s going through a “career crises” and isn’t sure how much longer he will present for.
The TV host has been fronting Ireland AM for 15 years and revealed he could “walk away” from the series.
“I’m going through a career crises! I’ve been asking myself ‘How much longer can I do this for?” he said.

The presenter gets up every morning at 3am for the show and divulged that the last year has been a tough one.
“And, this last year has been tough. I finally went in and got my back done…a double lumbar and fusion. It went well but major surgery takes its toll.”
“When I was in hospital I got pneumonia. And that actually caused me more problems than the surgery,” he revealed.

The dad-of-four is open to new offers and would be open to trying something new.
“Honesty, if there was something else that piqued my interest, I’d walk away,” he told VIP Magazine.
“But if something did come up, I would out of gratitude and respect go and talk to my employer and see if we could work something out.”
