Mairead Ronan has revealed that she has no desire to host her own radio show.
The Today FM presenter worked as a reporter for Ray D’Arcy’s former show and currently serves as a producer for the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show.
The recently married star insisted she is happy working behind the scenes.

“I enjoy production; it’s what I did in college. I fell into on-air with Ray [D’Arcy] by complete accident – it was never my plan,” she said.
“I did go through phases of hoping I might do my own show some time, but now I don’t.”
“I’m very happy with what I’m doing and that when I go home I don’t have the same stresses and worries some people have.”

The radio star has her hands full already with her side TV gigs on shows like Ireland’s Fittest Family.
“I can’t do any more TV than I’m doing at the moment. It takes an entire weekend to shoot one episode of Fittest Families and I’m in Today FM during the week,” she said.
“I love radio and the little bit of TV I do,” she told The Herald.
