Jonathan Rhys Meyers is rocking out as The Clash frontman Joe Strummer in the released first look at his flick London Town.
The Tudors actor will appear as the iconic musician in the 70’s set drama, which follows a 14-year-old who is introduced to the iconic punk band by his estranged mother.
The coming-of-age film, which wrapped this summer, features a number of the famed band’s songs including White Riot and Clampdown.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Dracula star appears alongside Dougray Scott, Natascha McElhone and Tom Hughes in the Derrick Borte directed film.
Although fans are getting a glimpse of the upcoming flick, a release date is yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, the Golden Globe winner was cast in American mini-series, Roots.
