RTE star Jennifer Maguire has admitted she doesn’t want a later radio slot as her morning show is suiting her new life as mum.
The Breakfast Republic host who returned to the 2FM show after 10 weeks maternity leave to care for her new daughter, revealed breakfast radio is perfect for her.
“I’m happy where I am. Florence has slotted into my lifestyle quite nicely,” she said.

“I’m not up during the night because she sleeps right through until morning so when I get up to head off to work himself [husband Lau] and herself are snoring away,
“She barely misses me,” she said frankly.
Meanwhile, The Unemployables host admitted she knows how lucky she is being able to juggle both her work and personal life as a new mother.
“It actually really suits me and I feel very lucky because there’s a lot of mums out there that have to get up, commute and work eight hours, which is tough,” she told the Herald.
