Broadcaster Jennifer Maguire has revealed her move into radio was tough.
The Dubliner, who presents 2FM’s Breakfast Republic, admitted it took her time to settle in on the airwaves.
“I realised very early only on that it takes a while to get a loyal listenership,” she said.

“I had to get used to doing a live show every single day.”
“[Keith and Bernard] worked together on iRadio so they were used to it, but it took me a while,” she added.
Meanwhile, the mum-of-one admitted she doesn’t worry about her radio ratings.

“I just don’t get radio ratings, so it is hard to get caught up in them,” she told The Herald.
“But I can tell from the texts and reaction of the listeners that we’re doing much better now and are heading in the right direction.”
