Actor Jack Reynor has revealed the film that inspired him to get into acting: Die-Hard.
According to the Wicklow native, the Bruce Willis led flick “blew” his five-year-old mind when he first watched it.
“At the age of five [I was inspired by Die-hard]. I know it’s like child abuse basically,” he joked.

“I watched it with my grandfather when I was five and it blew my mind and from that point on I wanted nothing else than to be an actor.”
Speaking on the Today Show in the US, a life in front of the camera was always on the cards for Jack after he admitted he used to pretend to present the news and weather to his family as a child.
“I remember one time very clearly, we had a freezer come into the house and there was a big box left over,” he revealed.
“My grandmother found me cutting a big square out of the box and I used to put it over my head and do the news and the weather for her.”
