Italian Vogue cover model Aidan Walsh has admitted that he never aspired to be a model – and hopes to continue on with his dancing career.
The 18-year-old graced the latest cover of the prestigious magazine and while the fashion industry may be calling – he still hopes to pursue his dream.
“I hope to have careers in both industries. I’ve been lucky so far with the people I’ve worked with so I just hope my luck doesn’t run out!” he said.
Career: Aidan hopes to continue his dancing career
The Ennis native became a model after he was approached by Tomorrow Is Another Day agency director Eva Godel.
“I was approached by Eva on Oxford Street when I was 17. She explained her agency to me and a few weeks later I was signed with them,” he told MFI Magazine.
Aidan is interested in fashion but reckons that Dubliners could learn a thing or two from their UK counterparts.

“I think Dublin and London are very different in terms of fashion. London style is broader and people aren’t as reserved or conservative in what they wear,” he said.
“You literally see the craziest outfits which is something you wouldn’t normally see in Dublin. I think fashion is less adventurous at home.”
