Coffee to-go? Imelda May goes back to her roots

Imelda May has gone back to her roots – by visiting the place she used to work.

The 41-year-old was spotted yesterday grabbing some coffees at the very cafe she used to work at as a waitress before she found fame.

The songstress looked happy and content as she left Simon’s Place coffee shop in The Georges Street Arcade in Dublin’s city centre.

With coffees in hand, the star oozed rock chic style in an all black outfit complete with an Alexander McQueen skull print scarf, her signature ponytail (minus the rockabilly quiff) and hoop earrings.

Imelda is recently back from Los Angeles, where she recorded material for her new album in The Village Studios.

The singer is now enjoying some much needed time off in Ireland after a busy few weeks recording.
