Hozier has been shortlisted for Song of the Year at the BBC Music Awards.
The Wicklow singer-songwriter’s hit debut single Take Me To Church, which also earned him a prestigious Grammy nomination, has shortlisted him in the category.
Other world-famous artists join Hozier on the list including The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding.

Fans can vote for their favourite artists or song through the BBC’s website on Wednesday December 9 between 7am and 8pm.
The awards will take place this Thursday December 10th and will be hosted by Chris Evans and Fearne Cotton.
