“There could be a meeting with Syco if they want one. It would be a full circle kind of thing. Do the show, go out there, do your records and then come back,” she told BANG Showbiz.
Reflecting on her time on the show, Janet admits that she “didn’t know how to perform” as she was just 16 years old.
“Singing in your bedroom and writing songs is a totally different thing to singing to millions of people on television so I kind of had to play to my strengths, which was just performing emotionally.”

Speaking about working with Destiny’s Child megastar Kelly Rowland, she said she tried to help her feel more confident in herself.
“It was different because our styles of performing were so different. She’s a megastar, she does the whole theatricality and she sings and of all of that whereas I was a bit like ‘I’ll just get off stage now’.
“She tried to help me get more comfortable with myself but unfortunately in that period of my life I wasn’t really ready.”
New music: Janet’s set to release a Christmas EP
Janet is set to release a Christmas EP called December Daze, which will be out November 27.
“I thought you know what? I want to get into Christmas this year, because I’ve always been like a self confessed Grinch! So I thought this year I’m going to get into it and it’s going to be amazing,” she added.
