Charlene McKenna and Love/Hate’s Johnny Ward will star in a new US show The Clan of the Cave Bear.
Winning a role in the Lifetime historical pilot, the former Raw actress will play Iza, sister of the clan leader Brun and the clan’s medicine woman.
“I guess the cat’s out of the bag. I’m very excited to start shooting,”she wrote online.

Based on the best selling book series by Jean M Auel’s, the drama take place 25,000 years ago as Neanderthals shared Earth with the first modern humans.
The story then follows the group as they adopt Ayla into the clan who in turn grows up to be a courageous young woman who must fight for survival against the jealous Broud played by Johnny Ward.
