Hector O Heochagáin will be back on the airwaves next Monday as he will take over the breakfast show on TodayFM.
The popular Meath man will be filling in for Ian Dempsey who is heading off on his holidays for two weeks.
“My early morning alarm is being set once again, the porridge will be consumed and the kettle will be boiled! I can’t wait to get back again into the cars, the kitchens & the workplaces of the country,” he said.

The last time Hector was covering on TodayFM his mother sadly passed away and so his time on air was cut short.
He will now go up against his former brerakfast show on 2FM from which he was axed.
The Galway based radio presenter who is excited to return to the airwaves has a special message for all his listeners.
Meanwhile, showbiz reporter Paula MacSweeney will be taking over the early breakfast slot.
“I’m delighted to be joining the weekday line-up; I can’t wait to warm up for the biggest and best Breakfast Show in the country,” she said.
Paula will be on air from Monday to Friday from 5am with Hector taking over from 7 to 9am.
