Glen Hansard has been nominated for a Grammy Award, after his solo album Didn’t He Ramble was added to the list of nominees today.
The singer-songwriter is nominated in the Best Folk Album category alongside Norman Blake, Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn, Patty Griffin and Rhiannon Giddens.
The 58th Grammy Awards 2016 will be held in LA’s Staples Center on February 16, with nominees in other categories including the likes of Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd.

This won’t be Glen’s first trip to the Grammy’s as he shared a gong in 2013 for Best Musical Theater Album for the stage production of Once alongside fellow musicians including his ex Markéta Irglová.
