Fifty Shades of Bloodshed: Jamie Dornan set to play Irish war hero in his latest movie

Hollywood actor Jamie Dornan is set to play a real-life Irish war hero in his latest movie.

Irish fans of the Fifty Shades Of Grey actor will be delighted to hear the flick will begin filming in Ireland next week.

The film, called Jadotville, tells the true story of a group of 150 Irish UN troops who were held under seige in the Congo in 1961.

Jamie stars as Patrick Quinlan who led his men as they struggled to fight off over 3,000 rebels.

“This will show a completely different side to Jamie,” an insider told the Sunday World.

“He’s never made a movie about conflict before and he jumped at the chance to bring this true story to audiences.”

While the movie has yet to begin, industry bosses are expecting great things and the flick has already been snapped up by Netflix.

Filming for the movie will begin in the coming days and will be divided between Dublin, Wicklow and South Africa.

“The story is not as well known as it deserves to be and Jamie and the crew are hoping the film will change that,” the source said.
