Brendan Courtney may have hosted the VIP Style Awards for two years in a row – but it seems he wasn’t interested in seeing them this year.
The TV star hosted the glamorous awards celebrating the best in style Irish celebs have to offer in 2013 and 2014 before giving up the post to fellow fashionista Darren Kennedy.
However, Brendan told Goss.ie he didn’t attend this years ceremony – and hadn’t even heard about who the winners were.

“I wasn’t there, I’ve been in London,” he revealed.
“I haven’t heard about the winners. I’ve been working back and forth in London.”
The former Off The Rails host has had his hands full organising the upcoming fashion independence day in London which will see 10 fashion forward celebs race across the UK to win the first ever fashion grand prix.

“Fashion independence day celebrates independent retail, powered by Frock Advisor. We’ve declared May 28 in London, fashion independence day,” he told Goss.ie.
“We have the fashion grand prix, bloggers, journalists, TV presenters in different card racing across the country and whoever gets the most boutique selfies will win the first ever fashion grand prix.”
It comes after Brendan previously admitted hosting the VIP Style Awards is “not very well paid”.
