Xpose presenter Karen Koster has revealed she would love to host the IFTAs this year.
The annual Film and TV awards are coming back this year, switching to TV3, after last years RTE coverage was labelled a “shambles”.
This year the IFTAs will be split into two nights, one ceremony for the best in TV and another for Film stars.
Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie, Karen admitted she would be delighted to take over from Laura Whitmore.

“I would love to yes – in a heart beat, it’s very exciting,” she admitted.
“I think splitting it between the two award shows is so smart and there’s going to be more of a highlights show and backstage footage instead of running it as live,” she explained.
“I think it’s much better for the viewer at home, and that’s really what it’s about at the end of the day,” she added.

It comes after Amanda Byram also threw her hat in for the hosting gig, telling Goss.ie she would definitely say yes if the IFTAs came knocking.
