Daniel O’Donnell is currently dancing up a storm on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, but it seems he will be getting even more airtime hosting country music show Opry an Iúir on TG4.

The singer is back hosting the show, which sees a country music star perform their greatest hits in front of a live audience.

The crooner will also perform some of his best known hits in Irish, including Tar ag Damhsa Liom (I just want to dance with you) and Bhfuil aon Sólás í nDán dom Níos Mó (My shoes keep walking back to you).

Daniel revealed that he really enjoyed hosting the show and showcase some great artists.

“I really enjoyed presenting Opry an Iúir again this year. The guests were all fantastic. I got to sing a few songs in Irish. A first for me!  It’s so good to have a show like this to showcase some of our great country stars,” he said in a statement.

The show will feature Charlie Landsborough, Louise Morrissey, Dominic Kirwan, Jim Devine, Mike Denver and Johnny Brady who will take to the stage to have a chat with Daniel and play a special duet performance.
