Colin Farrell returning to Dublin to film new football flick

Coin Farrell is set to make a movie about Ireland’s homeless football team.

The Dublin native is returning to his hometown to tell the story of a group of homeless men who formed Ireland’s national team.

The Irish actor will play one of the men in the movie which follows a fictional tale of a group of lads on their journey to compete in the Homeless World Cup.

Movie: Colin is making a movie about the Irish homeless football team

Plans for the movie are already at an advanced stage and it’s due to begin filming in a few months.

Fellow Irish A-lister and Colin’s good friend Brendan Gleeson is in talks to take on a supporting role in the flick.

“It’s a feel-good drama about these men and their determination to compete despite the various difficulties and challenges in their lives,” a movie insider told the Sunday World.

Support: Colin recently supported the Irish team at the Homeless  World  Cup | VIPIRELAND.COM

“It’s very much Colin’s project and he will co-produce as well as star. It’s a subject close to his heart and he’s looking forward to coming back to Dublin.”

It comes after Colin was recently spotted supporting the Irish team in their match against Ukraine at the Homeless World Cup.
