Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has insisted Louis Walsh isn’t coming back to the X Factor.
The Girls Aloud star dismissed rumours that the Mayo man will be making a sensational come back to the talent show – after it suffered a massive decline in ratings.
“I read about the rumours that Louis is coming back. I thought it was just a rumour, then someone told me he was on TV talking about it as a possibility,” Cheryl revealed.

“I have not been told it’s a possibility,” she told the UK Mirror.
And sticking in the knife Cheryl said the former Westlife manager wouldn’t know how to judge the acts this season as he hasn’t met them.
“I’m absolutely in love with them (Rita and Nick), so I don’t know how Louis could comment on acts he doesn’t know. He doesn’t know anybody, so I don’t know how that would work out.
“I’m going to make some phone calls,” she joked.

However a show insider revealed plans to bring in a fifth guest judge every week – with Louis taking on the role one of the weeks.
“There have been some early discussions about a fifth guest judge for the live shows to keep the format fresh. The idea would be to have a music legend join Simon, Cheryl, Rita and Nick as an impartial judge each week. We’re still exploring how this could work.”
