Outlander star Caitriona Balfe has admitted that modelling helped her overcome any insecurities she had about stripping off for movie roles.
The brunette beauty, who previously walked the runway for Victoria’s Secret, said being a model helped her feel more comfortable with her body.
“You’ll probably find most models are incredibly insecure about their bodies,” she admitted.
“But maybe some of my background prepared me. I’m so used to stripping off in a room of 30 people and I think the fact that I’m out of my 20’s helps,” she explained.

The Irish star, who once was a Victoria’s Secret model claims modelling helped her discover her true self.
“I’m just much more sure of who I am,” she admitted.
“I loved it [modelling] most whenever I felt I had an opportunity to inhabit a character. I guess I always leaned to the theatrical.”

“Modelling wasn’t really my passion.” she told The New York Post.
Her latest role in Outlander sees her playing a raunchy character with some scenes unsuitable for her family.
“I’ve pre-warned my parents that there are a couple of scenes they can go out and make a cup of tea but they will enjoy watching it,” she revealed.
