New RTÉ2 series Bridget & Eamon brought in incredible ratings as they aired their first episode on Monday night.
Goss.ie can exclusively reveal the comedy series, that features RTÉ star Jennifer Zamparelli and Bernard O’Shea, pulled in an average of 197,600 viewers in it’s debut episode.
After hearing the incredible figures, Jennifer shared her delight on Twitter by saying she was “absolutely thrilled and relieved”.

The show was the most popular amongst younger viewers, with Bridget & Eamon also being streamed almost 35,000 times on RTÉ Player.
The ratings news is sure to put a smile on the show’s cast and crew’s faces as Jennifer and Bernard recently revealed to Goss.ie that they would love for the show to be as big of a success as Mrs Browns Boys.Â
