Sherlock star Andrew Scott has remained tight-lipped about his James Bond character in Spectre.

Starring in the highly-anticipated 007 flick, the Dubliner plays member of the British government called Max Denbigh, but wouldn’t confirm anything else.

“That would spoil the fun, wouldn’t it?” he said.

“Let’s put it this way. I get to wear great suits and do a lot of really fun, proper James Bondy stuff. To be in a James Bond film is just really cool, right?”

However, the BAFTA winner revealed he has “some really funny lines” in the latest 007 offering.

“My least favourite type of acting is acting that has no humour in it. I’d go as far as to say that it’s unforgivable,” he told the Guardian.

Blockbuster: Spectre marks Andrews first blockbuster | VIPIRELAND.COM

Spectre marks the 38-year-old’s first blockbuster and he admitted he enjoyed more than he expected to.

“Sam [Mendes] is such an exciting person to work with,” he said.

“He made it feel as if we were putting on a play, albeit with about 500 people standing around watching us rehearse.”
