Channel 5 Boss Ben Frow has shut down any rumours that Michaella McCollum will appear on Celebrity Big Brother – insisting she’s not famous enough for the show.
The convicted drug smuggler was reportedly being considered for a role on the UK show after being released from her Peruvian jail almost two weeks ago.
However when asked if the 23-year-old would appear on the reality stalwart, based on whether she was deported early by Peruvian authorities, TV chief Ben admitted she has “no impact” in the UK.

“I wouldn’t have thought so, Michaella has had no impact here at all,” the TV boss told The Irish Sun.
The Tyrone native made quite the stir during her first TV appearance on RTE after she was freed on parole after serving a third of her jail term.
According to reports, Michaella was allegedly lined up for CBB alongside Ben Innes, who posed for a seflie with EgyptAir hijacker Seif Eldin Mustafa.
