A host of A-listers will be descending on Dublin this weekend for the 2016 IFTA Awards.
Hosted by Moone Boy star Deirdre O’Kane, this year’s ceremony will honour film veteran Liam Neeson and Touched By An Angel’s Roma Downey who will both receive accolades for their work in the industry.
Boomtown Rats frontman Bob Geldof will also be at the ceremony to present Roma with the inaugural Irish Diaspora Award.

A host of famous faces will be on hand to present Ireland’s best and brightest with their awards.
Funnyman Chris O’Dowd, Amy Huberman, Andrew Scott, Natalie Dormer, Panti Bliss, Miriam O’Callaghan and Charlie Murphy will all be handing out the gongs to Ireland’s best and brightest.
Meanwhile, veteran broadcaster Gay Byrne and singer Van Morrisson are also confirmed for the ceremony.
This year’s IFTA’s takes place at Dublin’s Mansion House and will be broadcast on TV3 on April 10 at 9pm.
