Easter Eggs are lining the shelves of every supermarket chain in the country and Goss.ie couldn’t be happier.
Having trouble deciding which ones to buy for your loved ones (and yourself of course)? Well have no fear because we’ve compiled our list of the best Easter Eggs this Island has to offer.
1. Aldi
The Aldi Easter Eggs are a whole other animal – have you seen the size of them?
As well as getting a good bang for your buck, you can also get gluten free eggs from the supermarket chain.
We know there’s no such thing as a healthy Easter egg really, but this is a big help!
2. Flake
It’s not just about the 99 ice-creams and the crumbly goodness when it comes to these bad boys.
Cadbury are in a league of their own when it comes to chocolate and their eggs are no different.
We know half of you just ask for the eggs that come with the best bars, and this is one of them.
3. Buttons
Okay we admit it, some of these you might as well just buy for the confectionery that comes with it.
Buttons are a classic and their a necessary staple this time of year.
If you’re feeling extra gluttonous, why not pig out on the sinfully tasty Buttons chocolate yoghurt? Who needs lent anyway.
4. Kinder Surprise
This is one of our favourites – it’s essentially a Happy Meal in chocolate form.
As well as an incredibly delicious egg, you also get a surprise toy inside.
Too mature for toys? Yeah, us neither.
5. SkelligÂ
We love supporting Irish businesses, and Skellig is one of them.
You can normally check out their tasty treats in Avoca, and now you can get them in egg form.
They’ve even made their rocky road bar into an egg, yes really!
6. Creme Egg
They come along every Easter and leave us again soon after.
Creme egg connoisseurs  buy in bulk and stock up for the later months.
Do it now, or be without creamy egg goodness for a whole year.
7. Oreo
Do we need to explain this one?
We know the Oreo brand is way bigger in the U.S. but we’ve fallen in love with it here in Ireland.
8. Thorntons
These guys make their own Easter Eggs – and they’re amazing.
If you’re feeling extra festive, you can also order a personalised hamper for those special chocolate lovers in your life.

9. Lindt
There are no words…
We would buy Lindor by the bucket if we could, so when there’s an option to grab an egg too we can’t say.

All year round we get to enjoy the mini chocolate egg, but this is the one time of year you get a fun sized version.
