The Star Wars crew could be making a permanant set up in Co. Kerry as the franchise is set to have five more sequels.
Two trilogy episodes as well as three spin-offs are planned for the space opera series which has seen both The Force Awakens and the upcoming sequel film on Scellig Michael in Co. Kerry.
“There are some cool things being discussed. It is very exciting to see how it is being put together,” executive producer JJ Abrams told the Irish Sun.

“The success of The Force Awakens has given executives much to think about,” a source added.
“So many characters’ back-stories and futures can now be brought to life. When these ideas came from George Lucas 40 years ago, technology was lagging behind. Now they can be turned around in a year.”
The final trilogy films are due in 2017 and 2019.
Star of the franchise Mark Hamill was recently spotted back in Ireland filming the next installment of the series.
